HAD ENOUGH OF YOU BEGGARS !

I am born and brought up in India and have been lucky to be born in a family that provided me everything. If you ask the general public to tell you what are the biggest problems faced by India that hinder it's capability to be conceived  as a developed nation, most of the answers would include 'poverty' as a factor. I am writing this to share my views on how to eradicate certain types of poverty stricken groups. Namely the 'beggars at traffic lights'. I am writing this having no knowledge or stats about the clockwork of the traffic light beggar community so I am very much open to criticism and corrections. As a layman in writing, I have written what I feel about them and what should be done.
I am using the term clockwork because anyone who has seen the traffic light beggars day in and day out can tell you on the basis of common sense that they have an organized system behind them which dictates the lives of these beggars. We all have seen the movie slumdog millionaire, in which we see little children taken from the slum area's of Mumbai and forced into a life of begging on the streets. That movie even sheds light on the harsh reality that children are mutilated ( single eye amputation was shown in the movie, but that's only if they are lucky ) so as to increase the grief in the hearts of the daily commuters. The scenario is unimaginable and inhuman. I have personally scene half naked children with a burnt eye being handed a cup and told to go ask for money. The pain I feel at the lose of life and the suffering one has to go through. What does a child has anything to do with the issue imposed on him. He can barely speak and they want him to go to cars with a steel cup and beg for money he doesn't even get to use.

Do you feel lucky ?

Nowadays I'm just thinking about 'luck' and how others perceive it. The diversity of general thought is just intriguing to me and so I found some views on 'luck'. Most of the people who believe in luck as being kind of an inherited trait or a trait which has a maxima and minima depending on time or surrounding are either gamblers or religious people . Some people don’t believe in the concept of luck and just accept all things as coincidences, which to my thought is a good way of thinking and accepting life. But I wonder how a person born in the slums perceives luck? I can understand that he would believe strongly in either luck or God for his misfortune. For them, just to have a decent answer of life would be one of those two, it is sad, but I guess it satisfies them.
I was writing a different post on making aware decisions and also not to long ago I was talking to a close friend of mine whose ideology of luck is just very satisfying to me. He defines luck as a good outcome of a unconscious decisions. This sentence defines certain ways of life, I feel. It is not possible to control all your unconscious decisions as you never know what may happen, but you have probability with you. I feel, me as well as the general public does things whose consequences we cant fully be aware of before it actually happens. When you work your job or do your periodic errands, it’s a conscious decision whose outcomes you are aware of, you are also aware of the outcomes if you fail to do those work. Life is as simple as that but you just need to think and analysis situations which need attention, this means you have to decide which things require your attention. The devil is in the details. So to explain this concept of unaware decision making I'll give a small personal example. Most people who travel international  would know about the harrowing process of immigration. Long queues and answering questions to officers with sad smirks on their faces. Especially at New Delhi airport, sometimes there is a queue comprising of passengers from 4 international flights simultaneously. So once when I travelled to Germany with my dad, on the flight back he had booked two aisle seats opposite  to each other, 2nd row behind the first class compartment. He did not put anything in the overhead compartment, just a briefcase under the seat. Before the plane landed, he told me to keep up with him in a tone which resembled the tone of a man telling me you're on your own. The plane landed and as soon as the seatbelt sign turned off, he vanished. I have not seen any man walk so fast, than my dad trying to get the first spot on the immigration line. Surprisingly it worked well for us. He got through on the 3rd number cause the first class people de-board first or there is no way they could have beat him. I came at, a fair guess would be near 23rd, but the best thing was that 3 flights landed with us and the immigration was packed behind us.
This just shows that in this particular case my dad is completely aware of his decision making, he's aware that he doesn't know if the queues are already going to be full. Also he knows that it's not under his control to make flights land, so being so fully aware of the situation he gets the best possible out come. Instead of majority of public who would, in the example above, probably quote,"  its just bad luck that 3 planes landed together, now we cant do anything but wait just for immigration". We should know what we are doing, know what we are eating, analysis the world we see around us not because it’s a way of life I'm promoting, but because in my experience smart, conscious and aware decisions bring good luck.

This is special mention for a good friend of mine who believes in "luck", mystically. She took a deck of cards, shuffled it, split it in half and gave one half to me. We both would keep a card face up simultaneously and who ever got the higher card kept both the cards and the winner be the one with all the cards. It’s a very long game to finish but she did point out that I was getting a higher card more number of times than her and hence I am momentarily, mystically, more lucky. To which I argued that the cards are based on probability and over a thousand games the average outcome would be equal to result can derived by probability theory. She eventually told me its not possible to calculate such random probability and I argued you can. I tried, failed miserably. So here is a shout out to whoever is interested in doing some probability.

Being Curious

We all in our own way are curious. Curiosity is a state of mind when you keep mentally looping question about a situation or concept which your mind craves to comprehend. It’s a good thing to be curious, its got us this far hasn't it. Being curious is a feeling we share even with our prehistoric ancestors. Its is a feeling we share with other animals as well and the people who have seen '2001 a space odyssey' ( if not then I urge you to ) would understand how similar is the behavior of man and ape when presented the same dilemma. Survival of the fittest prevailed in favor of homo sapiens not because the Neanderthals/Apes sat in a dingy corner of some cave, its because they not only explored but mastered a world full of curiosities.
There is an ultimate reason as to why homo sapiens is the only species that are commonly found in all continents, in fact we have even marked our presence outside these lands, in the oceans as well as on other planets too. It is the same reason which allows us to call ourselves as an intelligent species which is that we are curious. Everything humans have ever done is to fulfill their curiosity, the reward of that is being the masters of Earth. Its funny because now a days I see majority of the so called "masters of Earth, the most intelligent life form to our knowledge" tiring of the endless curiosity and choosing to blandly struggle to live. Sure there are over millions who still pursue wisdom and happiness, but compared to 7.2 billion that number is the minority side. Think would we even have discovered electricity if the ancient Greeks didn't bother being curious as to why fur and amber physically attract each other when rubbed together. Would we have any of the modern machinery if we didn't have the curious minds of all the master tinkerers and engineers from Da Vinci to Newton to Henry Ford to Steve Jobs. And these are the names just found in history books. Do you even realize how much medical researchers have achieved, they know the vast complexity of life forms. We can change the freaking heart of people and animals and that’s not the only organ we can replace. Realize the sense of achievements ! All this is achieved one way or another for gaining knowledge, fulfilling curiosity. No man has won a noble prize because his motive was money. Even the food you eat is because some prehistoric ancestor of ours was curious to taste cooked instead of raw food, the clothes you wear…. well I guess that’s because our ancestors got cold. But never the less we became curious in fashion and now we have such a comfortable and feasible clothes. The world is because we are fulfilling our curiosities.

But the arrogance and unreasonable pride  of the 21st century generation is deterring our interest in curiosity. Look what we have achieved throughout history owing to all the curious minds and imagine if such a small group of minds accomplished so much, what would we achieve if all the currently breathing 7.2 billion people had a thirst of fulfillment. We waste our lives trying to live another day, our priorities are unbalanced and we have stopped asking why. We think we are smart enough to google everything questioned, that makes it a crippled mind, a crippled mind like a crippled leg which needs crutches and canes to walk. Exercise your mind for the better, find your passion and let it engulf your life, who knows you might just make your mark in history. Be curious and be alive.

Father

He is often termed as a boy's first hero and a girl's first love. He has devoted his life to tireless work being engulfed by the thought of food, shelter, safety and above all, happiness. Embarking through the twists and turmoil's of life planting seeds all the time hoping one day his family can eat the fruits. All this compassion belittled by the rage evoked when his family is questioned. His unending struggle is now a days called as the way of life and we, sadly, carry on.

Words are not enough to express the gratitude I have for my father , he is a religious man with principles and responsibilities. I don't know what fuels his beliefs in God but I know that I believe in God because of my father and his selfless work. I want to be a man like him, it’s a magical inspiration. Thank you Father.

Remember, Our Teachers !

We have been taught how to read and write, to speak punctually, to behave with civility and to most importantly we have been educated. We are the prime species of this planet, the ones who are destined to make it flourish. But now we plunged into an selfish era where the children don’t see the power of education as greed blinds them. An era of boorish students who are unaware of respecting teachers and it has affected the faith of teachers in students. It is an era where the majority values 'social' more than 'smart'. The pristine work of a teacher is turning into a monotonous day job and education is falling exponentially with time. To make a change we have to respect our teachers for their tome and effort even though we personally don't like the subject, but because we got to know something. Knowledge is true wealth and our teachers don’t teach because they educated unemployed people, they teach as it fulfills theirs lives. Empathize with their struggle and if you ever realize it, just thank them. That’s all they want for making the world better.

Free Water !

Look around yourself and tell me one thing other than air that is constantly present and wanted in order to survive, feel comfortable. Its water and many people don't seem to be appreciating it anymore, not nearly as they do to other materialistic conveniences. Certainly more that 70% of the Earth is covered with water but only a scant 2% of that is fresh water. My perception of the world is that people reading blogs have no problems letting the tap run for a shave or while washing dishes and even I consider that as petite lethargy but I can't put a blind eye to the millions of humans dying daily as a result of lack of water or a water related disease. I type this to give voice for my friends who don't have a page on social networks, who can't blog like we do about our life and the problems we consider to be problems. I don’t demand charity but I want to create a small sense of duty of being human and coexisting.
We don't see or even empathize with the 345 million people facing water scarcity everyday let alone the 3.4 million annual deaths due to drinking unsafe and contaminated water. We all unknowingly love water while others crave for it. There are places where having water separates the rich from the poor. In ancient times rain was considered a gift from the Gods and as the water droplets fell through sky people joyed at the fruitful occasion. It  was a natural source of irrigation, it cooled those scorching days and brought along it a cold and soothing breeze and no one minds the sight of kids playing in the rain because in materialistic terms it’s just people being happy with nothing.  Since the times humans evolved to intelligence they realized the value of water inferred that to make a city first they need to set up a water distribution system, that people need drinking water. They harvested rain, a lot ! They engineered ways to effectively collect the water and save it for later use. As compared to now, imagine if each and every house, building, shack, petrol pump have and effective rain harvesting system. I invoke for  a world in which we just save some by using our own and us saving a little when taken on a larger scale enables our government to provide to the unlucky. Only when you experience the need for water or see a fellow human crave, starve due to lack of water maybe then you will experience an epiphany. Sadly just maybe.
I love the feeling of drinking water, it makes me feel safe, something less to worry about. I wish I could share that feeling with others just lying in their homes thinking if they can have a sip, a proper bathroom routine, a proper meal. I just take care of my small responsibility to conserve thinking that if my tap runs then somewhere someone's tap wont. I want the community to re-realize the value of water. Just stop the tap when you are done, flush wisely ( felt funny writing that ), if possible use a bucket instead of shower. Do you even see that taking your car through car wash is a monumental waste of water and shows how lazy we have become. I urge for a community where health care and drinkable water is free and available in even the smallest possible ways. I'm disheartened to see that with the current economical status of some countries they still choose to line up vending machines of food and beverages but not those of free water and band aids. With this the community should be smart and not misuse, it is a must to be civil and keep the not so well of in mind.
There is 326,000,000,000,000,000,000 gallons (326 million trillion gallons) of water on Earth, a healthy human needs a minimum of 8 glasses ( 2 liters or half a gallon ) of water per day and still so many die due to... well simply no water. Its not only us who needs water, we have so many pets in our community we and it is our responsibility to feed them, they aren't greedy like humans, they know how to coexist and a simple cup of water outside your house can put a smile to a dog's face. Think about it, think of your nation, think of the world. I am not encouraging any major donation, because there isn't the need if only people understand small steps are to be taken first and so even though we have 24 hour running water we should help the world by not misusing. We should encourage rainwater harvesting and if you tell me that rainwater is not drinkable due to atmospheric pollution making it minutely acidic, I agree. But then use it to clean your car, use it water some plants, connect the piping through to your bathroom or the best give it to the poor, it is still distilled water. Indeed, charity begins at home.

I Like Your Smile

We all long happiness, whether we long it for ourselves or for loved ones. We all pray for happiness , pray for a solution to our problems and when we overcome the problem we all undoubtedly feel happy even if it’s the faintest sensation in the deepest corner of our heart, we will be happy. There is a sign of happiness which we all learn even without acknowledging the fact of learning it, there is a simple majestic beauty in this sign which when shown by any life form conveys a  warm gesture. This sign we call a smile. Its conveys acceptance and happiness, doesn't even take much to achieve, it is the first thing you did when the first time you felt the sensation of being happy. They are mutual such that happiness would bring a smile and smile would bring happiness.
You may disagree that smiling can bring happiness by pointing out countless cruel situations when you might be alone and disheartened, sadly possibly crying and say there is no point smiling, that it won't get them the happiness they long. But my character of being a realist which is sprinkled with layers of optimism says that in such dire situations smiling won't bring happiness but it will surely calm the feeling of your heart falling unendingly and change your perspective. Its not easy but if just simply remembered to smile  you choose to overlook the dull side of any situation and you accept the present. A smile at those times is your personal helping hand, shoulder and a sign of courage from the aching heart. Its as beautiful as phoenix rising from fire. Such smile now days are indeed rare. People have an ideology of smiling because they are happy and not smiling to bring and spread happiness. Its so heartwarming to see a person smile as the interaction, however lengthy, comes to a conclusion. After you meet someone maybe completely new, if they leave with a smile note that you made a difference, you made the difference of making that interaction a kind one and not a one where two people meet with blank expressions, ideally achieve the aim of meet and then leave as emotionless as their meet or even make it worse by being rude. You at that point choose to make it a kind, fruitful meet and you achieve this by very small gestures such like offering water to a the mailman on a hot day or saying thank you to the gloomy immigration officer at the airport or simply by smiling and walking through the street someone would surely take a glimpse of your happiness and would choose to be happy rather than bland.

Its All About Respect

There is a feeling in us which tells us to do good deeds and help a living creature and on completion of this such an act we don’t feel content or proud. We call such an act an act of respect. Just  the sheer amount of respect displayed by a person can indicate what sort of life he as been going through and how strong his will is. It is not just in humans as science has observed authentic acts of respect displayed by all sort of animals in all sorts of situations. All over the world different nations having different cultures have a certain method to convey a sign of respect. Showed naturally to convey acceptance of a newer more powerful, dominant leader in society, shown naturally at the sight of a good deed or that of extreme compassion, it's naturally expressed by individuals toward something or someone who would be a reason for motivation and epiphanies. But now there is a majority group of people who take respect for granted and have forgotten that all aspects of life should be respected.
A society where people respect their work, respect all forms of life especially respecting their neighbor would be an ideal utopia. It is something that is not to be taken lightly and should be the first priority when someone meets or simply interact with another. A peaceful clam mind is vital for such a behavior. Its not the point of you have to give respect to get respect, people who naturally are respectful do seek it in return. Society should see that if you respect your profession then you would naturally work hard for it. Take example of a small hotdog salesman, if he respects his profession he would genuinely take care that sells the tastiest hotdog but along with that if he naturally respects people, respects every human equally has he would for his father then he would also take care that it’s a healthy, unadulterated hotdog and would genuinely be kind to customers. Naturally he would be popular only because in today's generation there is a majoritarian belief that to get respect you need to give respect. Is say differently. I say don’t be respectful because your parents taught you so, don’t be respectful because someone else conveyed to you a sign of respect but be respectful because it is the basic, I mean 1st lesson to having a successful life. Now imagine a multinational mobile phone organization, in order to be successful the path is the same, respecting their profession they would have a profound instinct to be ahead of the market, providing the best mobile phones having a software that maybe wont promise the latest features but will be of quality, its hardware wont be of cheap materials as with respect would also come a sense of pride. They would work with integrity to deliver a long lasting, flawless product. When they respect their customers not because they are a source of income but because its in their nature, there won't be any false/tricky advertisements, they will tell the customer exactly what they are buying before they are buying. Such a combination can do wonders for people, companies, society. No matter how bad situations get people won't consider murder because they know the importance and blessing of life, there would be anything to be scared of. Gore movies would be termed fiction rather than based on real life and they would be scarier than ever because the production wont miss a chance to scare people off their feet ( they respect the audience's wishes to be scared if they choose to buy the movie ticket).

Save Our Home !

What do you call home ? Do you call the roof above your head home ? Do you call the area where you live home ? Do you call your country home ? Time to time you have called all these things your home but I ask you that how many times in your life have you said, "the Earth is my home and that is where I live". Well I'm sure to say you never considered it your home, and why should you ? You cant consider a round piece of rock a "HOME", you have never even seen it ! So do hell with Earth, You'll just keep your house at most your neighbourhood clean because you have to walk through it everyday.
I have a personality that craves to empathize, not because I care, but to find a universal datum of sanity. So lets see why shouldn't we save the Earth. Firstly what should we save it from ? There is nothing attacking it. Some environmentalist comes and says, "Humans are attacking it". What a fool. We are just using what God gave us aren't we ? If he left us a huge (limited ) bundle of oil and natural gasses aren't we supposed to burn it and use it for our progress ? Sure there is a sun hovering above us with unlimited untapped potential for energy and sure there is something called hydroelectric power, but do we really want to reinvest money after spending billions in making oil factories on land and sea. I say let the coming generation worry about that. Look, the estimated time left for our solar system is some blah billion years and you and I have just a mere 100 years. So why not enjoy ! Trash up this place, use all the natural resources, cut the bloody trees down and make a mall ! But wait, didn't some guy say every action has a reaction ? Hmmmmm what reaction would there be to cutting trees down or burning the natural resources ? A little global warming and pollution here and there. Not our concern, our residence is neat and dust free. Lets clear off the forest area and make a city, some economic benefit  of the land,  trees just standing there lifeless, nothing to our gain.
The reality being as harsh as being told you have terminal cancer. If you still don’t consider the Earth as your home, don’t waste your time reading my views.
The Earth is our home, it was our parents home and would be our children's home. If we continue using up the natural resources and don’t create alternatives for the future then the next generation could possibly be the last. Animals don’t care about oil, they would survive because nature always survives. Global warming has reached an alarming point and yet we put a deaf ear to it. And just to be clear global warming refers to the difference in average climate change that is caused by human factor to the average climate change due to natural events. I don’t have to point out what would happen if all trees are cut down or the air gets polluted, nothing you but your children would surely suffer and wouldn't see the beauties nature had to offer but would experience a planet of chaos. So many species have gone extinct because of humans, he have literally scarred nature and still she would heal but only if we let her. Ultimately humans might even cause their own extinction….. Nature will always prevail.
Let me put it in my way of understanding the 7 sins  -

1.Lust - It is being addicted to pleasure, not just sexual pleasure but any sort pleasure and luxuries. Humans have been hurting the Earth only for one main reason, that is to make their stay more comfortable. Our ancestors were not used to air conditioning or auto mobiles or even plastic bags. 21st century people are full of their mind with technology and are handicapped without these, so called basic needs. We just want to be comfortable. I'm not saying having a car is bad, but do you ever see the big picture of you polluting our common home just so you can go a mere kilometre. I walk. Not because I have abundance of time because the entire day I feel I just stare at a computer screen, just dedicate 5 minutes to your body.
2.Greed - It is human's tendency to be overwhelmed by the need of materialistic power and control. Basically we all want to be millionaires and we want be that whilst doing what we love. Even if we choose a profession that brings meaning to our life, we want to be rich in that. Its not bad to have money, we all have to pay bills but do we really need a 10 digit bank account credit ? We don’t care about the implications of burning oils, cutting trees as long we make money. The chemicals used to make products cheaper and making food tastier, the amount of trash created with every item we buy, every small thing has its implications and consequences.
3.Sloth - We are smart and aware of the consequences of global warming. We feel a climatic change and have personally seen almost all global temperature records reset in our lifespan. That is not normal and we know. Why don’t we act, why do we still choose to just do our job, earn our bread and leave the earth ultimately. We don’t care. We know by instinct about our short lifespan as compared to the earth and so we sit back and relax. If we relax who will manage our home ?
4.Envy - We envy nature for its brilliance. We envy each other for infinite reasons. We let it get the best of us and as has been seen throughout history, envy brings destruction. Humans don’t want some flora or fauna to control the lands. We want to control it, even if it means killings thousands of living creatures. Each and every city that has ever been built was done so by snatching the habitat of plants and animals. We want to dominate Earth and yet we don’t call it our home.
5.Pride - Watch any human documentary and it will without doubt paraphrase - Humans are the most intelligent species on the Earth. We defined intelligence in a way that we are at the top. We wont consider how animals pre know about natural catastrophes, we wont consider that a dog wont eat poison just by smelling it and we might. We don’t consider anything intelligent but us. Yet we are dumb enough to discriminate on color, sexual preference and religion. We are full of pride. If animals don’t obey us, we will kill them.
6.Gluttony - How many of you are non-vegetarian ? How many of you ever thought about the flesh you stick your teeth in into ? Or you just assume humans are natural carnivores? Even I cant answer that. I do know what an industry we have created, how animals are mutated to be more fat, give more eggs basically born to die for us. Also please don’t refer to plant as life in this argument against vegetarians because they don’t eat plants. They eat fruits, which are natural food given by nature, and the seeds we get from them it is our responsibility to nurture life from it. Instead we mutate animals to become tastier.
7.Wraith - We lack it. The seven sins are not only sins if someone possess abundance of it. It is also wrong if you lack it. How angry would it be if someone comes to your house, kills your dog, cooks it and eats it and then liters all over, pollutes it, pollutes the air of it, ultimately making it inhabitable for you. The Earth is the largest house we all share, polluting it entirely would take time but humans are slowly achieving it. You are doing this on every day basis . You need to be show your anger and make it stop. This is our home, realize.

God gave us one home. Humans came up with the seven deadly sins ! I just brought out a new meaning to it, these sins are termed the rules of life, well see the bigger picture my friend. You sin in your home and you don’t even know it. Please save Earth.

The Universe Is All About Music

Art is defined as the expression and application of human creative skill, typically in visual form such as a painting or sculpture. We call the a beautiful sights of nature we seldom see  God's work of Art. But we live in a time where art can be anything that makes us smile and gives a warm satisfaction because, at that point we relate to the inanimate object to our ideology of life  and we naturally comprehend this relation. There is a form of art which to my belief we are naturally inclined to for some reason, and also I believe ( without evidence ) would be the first form of art to exist in this universe. This form is called "music".
The dictionary defines music as an artistic form of auditory communication incorporating instrumental or vocal tones in a structured and continuous manner. That’s just bullshit. Music is pleasure and harmony through sound. It is always with us even though we don’t realize it and has helped soothe our minds in times of tension and grievance, has shown certain obligation to be present in times of contentment and ecstasy. Even while we walk down the street we hum a tune or actually put on our earphones and listen to pre-recorded music not only occupy the walk but because by instinct we love music. It is an escape from the monotony of life, the same old boring talks we have we change into rhythms. I am not exclusively talking about music with background beats along with it, I am also including poetry that was there without instruments. A criminal locked in a cell for life would undoubtedly sing a song or quote a poem or even create his own work because he would find natural joy and peace while being deprived from all other social needs.
There is a different and subtle beauty in poetry, much different than that of music. Music can be tuned to sound like a poem but not the other way around. Mainly because I consider poetry to be a rhythm of words and music to be poetry sung shadowing acoustical instruments. But both utter the same emotions. We don’t dance to poetry we dance to music and we listen and learn the deep meaning of life from poetry.  Music can be as simple as tapping your foot whilst humming alongside and can be done by a cat also, and can also be as majestic as Beethoven's symphonies . Poetry on the other hand is written by the greatest thinkers, literary scholars and artist of the respective time. Poetry touches the mind and body a very different way than music. As much as they are art of the same form, they are different.
Now there are 7.3 BILLION people in the world which mean there are 7.3 completely different perceptions and personalities and it would be right to assume all would have a unique taste in music. Old people don’t like what the young generation head bangs to and young people understand to what are the old people smiling to. For me Eminem is the God of music in our time but my mother still considers ABBA to be better. We cant judge a person's taste in music because as humans have evolved so have their creativity and it is the newer generation which is brought up along these new forms of music and hence their brains get accustomed to the new tunes. I say if you know what kind of music someone enjoy you can get a faint idea about their personality. I don’t judge the book by the cover, but knowing their musical interest can tell you if the book is a fable, fiction, work of literature etc.

Laws Of the Universe

Undoubtedly there is an unknown harmony behind everything. Such a harmony cannot be created my humans. By harmony I refer to the laws of science. They are perfect and flawless and there hasn't been a single moment in history where there has been an exception in the laws. If there is an exception found, we consider the law to be flawed and then we revamp the whole theory and come up with a theory which fully satisfies the phenomenon's occurrence. We do this because we have always come up with a satisfying solution, even if it took generations . This has always amazed me, that you can do the most random thing possible and it would be possible as it would be governed by pre-set laws. We have a saying "the devil is in the details", have you ever thought how detailed this universe is and who gave the details ?
Lets start from scratch. The building block of matter, as we all have been taught in 2nd standard are atoms. They are small, very small so small that we learnt of their existence  way before we saw them and the first human to actually see them was in 1955 after 2 million times magnification. Being so freakishly small, they still adhere to laws of science just like you and me and the car and the moon. I mean, if we consider ourselves as one single body, we are wrong. We are Sagan's of atoms working together and just like society and culture are a set of laws we follow during our lifetime, these atoms also come with governing pre-set laws. The newton's 3 laws of motion, the 3 thermodynamic laws, the laws of gravity and magnetism and so many more are not something human's have made after coming to the earth. They are predefined by a higher power.

The Soul

Life is a beautiful and mysterious concept. Life is the period during which something functions. I used to believe that humans are nothing more than stardust and are just bags of chemicals which came to be because of random chances . There are so many forms of life that we know of some live on land, some in the sea, some we cant even see. Now in a new epiphany and after lots of self contemplation what I believe is common to all of them is the "soul". The soul is what makes all life possible and this fact has been known since the early intelligent species first studied life. The soul is half of the mysteries of life, it is in our bodies and is presumed to be God's way of telling us that he exists. No one can deny the fact that a soul exists and if you ask for proof, read on.

The world is only as good as its Engineers

A person who says he is an engineer is always underestimated, especially in India. There is no value for a person who is trained to tame metal and energy to his will. I have a very different opinion that a country is as good as its engineers.
We live in a generation of smartphones and easy commuting. A 1000 years ago if a man wanted to go another city for work he could forget about hearing from his family for months and just to get to the other city he would have to ride a horse in the blistering sun, a mere 10 miles a day. He would not have ready made food nor would he have ample amount of water, and flying to your destination was something which we envied from birds. Who gave us all these miracle gift ? How does a car move when we tap our foot down or the screen slide when we swipe our fingers across it ? If a person 1000 yrs ago saw a simple motorbike traveling faster than their most prized horse for  0.01% the effort, he would instantly call us God and start praying to the bike.
An engineer is simply a person who understand how matter interacts with energy and how we can use those interactions to our benefits. Steve jobs and bill gates are possibly the most well known engineers in our time and why shouldn’t they be. Alexander graham bell is credited for giving us telephones, Hennery ford is called the father of modern age as he made personal automobile possible. For any industry to advance and prosper, first they must invent more advanced tools and that is what the humble engineer provides with.

The true birth of life

As you all know, everything comes to an end. Every living thing must die and every non living thing does decay, so its right to day everything existing has a time frame. We know the usual like you throw away an apple and after some time it'll decay to nothing, plastic is also naturally degradable but under normal circumstances it'll take more than 1000yrs to decompose a small amount . Even the stars, earth, our galaxy and even our universe has a time frame. Science has discovered what happens these things at the end of their time frame and it is beautiful !
In layman's language i hope to convey a message about the beginning of life
Most of you have heard about the famous " big band theory " , not the tv show, the theory which says that the everything in our universe, all planets, stars, nebulas, black holes, every single thing floating in the dark void above us was once ( 13.8 billion years ago ) packed tightly together in something which is much much smaller than a hydrogen atom ( 0.0000000000592 meters ). That singularity with our whole universe inside it then exploded and with that big bang, our universe came to being. Don’t imagine a huge explosion out of which the planets and stars came out wholly  but imagine a normal bomb going off, spreading outwards with gasses  in all 3 dimensions. The leftover of this unimaginable explosion was ginormous amounts of gas clouds ( these were composed of hydrogen and explaining why just hydrogen gas clouds would require a more scientific approach which you are surely not interested in ), which travelled at astounding speeds and finally settled a few 100,000yrs later. This realm is the baby universe, there are no stars no planets just huge gas clouds called nebulae.
Believe it or not these gas clouds are factories manufacturing stars through the forces of gravitation. In these huge clouds, lets say a lump of hydrogen atoms coalesce together due to their random motion. Now this lump has a higher gravitational pull than other atoms and hence pull them towards it. The end result is like a snowball rolling down a hill, the more weight it gets the more faster it rolls but in this case the more molecules it attracted the more stronger its gravity got and so it attracted even more atoms. This keeps on happening till a point is reached when so much amount of hydrogen stuck together by gravity reaches a temperature so high that nuclear fusion takes place. Just to be clear, fusion is when 2 hydrogen atoms combine together to give a product of a single helium atom along with enormous amount of energy. That released energy then goes on to help other hydrogen atoms to make more helium and more enormous amounts of energy. That my friends in simple terms is how all stars work, including our beloved sun.

Take Care !

Humans are known to be the one of nature's biggest enemies. But little do they know, the further they go from nature, their chances of having a future with prospering generation diminishes. We all have been watching a lot of movies about global extinctions and people have been pretty creative about their ideas. There is one movie which's idea particularly interested me called "Children of Men". Its basically about humans being overwhelmed by the power of science,  ultimately reaching the brink of extinction only because they turned their naturally evolved bodies into sacks of chemicals. What the movie give us an insight on is the true possible future for humans on Earth. It depicts a place where humans are unable to give birth.
Industrial revolutions refers to the late 1700's and early 1800's where the a transition took place from hand manufacturing processes to machines manufacturing processes, also when the steam engine was introduced and people went ballistic to obtain coal to power the engine, instead of wood and other traditional fuels. The perspective the whole world we lived in changed, and humans considered themselves God's of Earth. They didn't acknowledge the possible consequences, and there were a lot of possibilities. That time, even now, everyone wanted money and power and the best way to do it was to be a major industrialist.  But one thing this to be noted, our bodies were strong ! Humans have been hunters and gathers since ages and our bodies were naturally fit, also because most of the population would be in the army. Now see people fail at ice bucket challenges. Soon when industries became global their main aim became to be the dominant company in their sector and this only done by having the best quality and cheapest product.
